This page lists every cookie and browser storage key that PatentAssist.ai sets, what it is for, and how long it lasts. It covers patentassist.ai, search.patentassist.ai and app.patentassist.ai.

We set strictly necessary cookies without asking — the site cannot work without them, and they store no analytics. Analytics cookies only load if you press “Accept analytics” on the consent banner.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Rejecting analytics stops PostHog from loading at all; it does not merely opt you out afterwards. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time.

Analytics — only with your consent

We configure PostHog to create a person profile only for identified users, and we strip the q search parameter out of every URL it records, so search query text never reaches our analytics.

Cookies we do not set

We do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or social media pixels. The blog no longer loads fonts from Google, so no request goes to Google when you read it.
